Grid limitations
The Smartsheet Gov instance imposes sheet limitations that differ from those in the Commercial environment. For detailed information, refer to Smartsheet Gov overview.
Available capabilities
Smartsheet Gov has a more restricted set of features than the Commercial instance. The only Premium Apps supported in Gov are Control Center and Data Shuttle.

Core App limitations
When comparing the Core App functionality in Smartsheet Gov to the Commercial instance, consider the following:
- Unavailable features:
- Sheet summary
- Work Insights
- Brandfolder integration
- Document builder
- Active Directory integration
- Attachments can’t be referenced from Egnyte, Evernote, or Dropbox.
- Forms:
- Conditional logic in forms isn’t supported.
- Form branding must match workspace branding.
- Reports don’t have the grouping and summary functionalities.
- Custom dashboard colors aren’t supported.
- Bulk transfer functionality isn’t supported; use the in-app transfer feature instead.
