Summary
- Creates workflows between Smartsheet and a single file in a third-party storage drive

Limitations/Considerations
- Can’t upload or offload reports, WorkApps, dashboards, attachments, or in-cell images
- Can’t control permissions for external file locations from the Admin Center
- Can’t leverage via Mobile
- Data Shuttle uses GMT; it does not follow your time zone preferences from the Smartsheet app
- If you typically work with large datasets that exceed the sheet limitation of 20,000 rows, consider uploading to a DataTable
- It can’t automatically replace attachment versions or by attachment in Smartsheet
- All versions will be saved on the sheet, potentially causing performance issues
You must manually delete the attachments or use an attachment sheet or hyperlinks
The benefit of a separate attachment sheet is that it removes complexity from a sheet that stores attachments as well as does other things (such as an Intake sheet for Control Center).
