Change the Default Date and Number Format (via the Language Setting)

You can change the Language (Country) for your account so that dates and numbers are displayed in the format that works best for you. Smartsheet will display dates in the appropriate format for the Country you've set up for your account. For example, if your Country is set to English (United States), dates will be displayed in the format mm/dd/yy.

To change the date and number formats, change the Language (Country) setting in Personal Settings:

  1. Click Account > Personal Settings, to display the Personal Settings form.
  2. Click Settings in the left pane.
  3. Select a new value from the Language (Country) dropdown list.

The date and number formats for the selected county will be displayed underneath.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

Dates and number formats in your sheets will be updated to match the new setting.
