With Amazon Quick connected to the Smartsheet MCP Server, you can interact with your Smartsheet data using plain natural language — asking questions, generating summaries, identifying risks, and taking actions like creating sheets or starting discussions.
Amazon Quick features provide additional benefits. The following sections describe the prerequisites for using the Smartsheet MCP Server and demonstrate how to connect Amazon Quick to Smartsheet.
What are the connection prerequisites?
AI access and MCP server access are enabled for Smartsheet organizations by default. Unless your Smartsheet system admin disabled AI access or MCP server access, you're ready to configure the connection.
The following criteria must be met for you to use the Smartsheet MCP Server in Amazon Quick:
- Smartsheet Business, Enterprise, or Advanced Work Management plan
- AI must not be disabled for your organization in Smartsheet
- MCP server access must not be disabled for your organization in Smartsheet
How do I connect Amazon Quick to Smartsheet?
Complete the following steps to connect Amazon Quick to Smartsheet:
- In the Amazon Quick console, start setting up the connector. Refer to Amazon Quick documentation on setting up the connector to Smartsheet.
- Enter the following connection details.
- Name: An arbitrary name, such as Smartsheet, for the integration
- Description: An optional arbitrary description
- Connection type:
Public network
- In the OAuth configuration section, configure the following items and then pause.
- Base URL: The endpoint of the Smartsheet MCP Server in your region.

- Base URL: The endpoint of the Smartsheet MCP Server in your region.
- In the OAuth configuration, note the Redirect URL; it's pre-filled with the Amazon Quick callback URL. Pause filling in the Amazon Quick form, and sign in to Smartsheet to configure OAuth.
- In Smartsheet, follow the Smartsheet OAuth guide to register an app and implement an OAuth flow for it. In the Create New App form, fill in the App redirect URL field with the redirect URL from your Amazon Quick integration configuration.
Save your app registration, and store the App client ID and App secret for use in the Amazon Quick integration configuration. - Revisit your Amazon Quick integration's connection details.
Set your Amazon Quick integration's Client ID to your Smartsheet application's App client ID.
Set your Amazon Quick integration's Client secret to your Smartsheet application's App secret. - Complete creating your Amazon Quick integration. Quick Suite performs a handshake with the Smartsheet MCP Server, automatically discovers the Smartsheet MCP Server tools, and lists the Smartsheet MCP Server tools for review.
- Optionally, share your integration with other users or groups in your organization.
- In Amazon Quick's Connectors page, navigate to the Available tab. Find the newly created tile that has your integration's name and click on Try in chat.
In your current chat conversation, you can interact with your Smartsheet data.
