Permissions

Admins, Designers, Authors, and External Contributors are the different permission levels within Content Automation.

There are four types of users in Content Automation.

An Admin is a user that has unrestricted access to all areas within the platform. Admins are the only users that can add users, edit teams, and access the Account Settings tab.

A Designer is a user who can build templates for the users within their organization. Designers have edit access to all projects and their documents and Admin access to the Assets and Templating tabs.

An Author is a user with access to edit and change particular inputs and assets within a document based on a template the client created for use.

An External Contributor is a user who is given temporary access to a document with the view to edit and make changes without having full access to the Content Automation platform and operates under a limited scope of use.
