Sort and Filter the Schedule

  1. To access the schedule, click Schedule at the top of the page. 
  2. Select the menu icon in the upper-left corner to display the sidebar menu.

At the top of the sidebar menu, switch between People view and Project view. Use other items in the menu to filter and sort.

Exclued information appears grayed out. Remove the filter to access it.

Sort By Options in People View

People View - Sort By

  • First Name (default): Alphabetically by first name

  • Last Name: Alphabetically by last name

  • Role: By role in alphabetical order by first name

  • Discipline: By discipline in alphabetical order by first name

  • Availability: From most to least available. This view shows who can take on work for certain project types, or who is available during a specific period of time

People View Filters

  • Everyone (default): The entire organization

  • Billable: Choose only billable or non-billable people. Non-billable people have a 0% utilization target in their profile settings.

  • Role: A specific title or position

  • Discipline: The same department(s) or people perform the same type of work

  • Project: Those people on a specific project or other event, such as Vacation or Sick

  • Team Member: Specific people and/or placeholders

  • People Tags: Specific tags

  • Clients: Assignments that relate to selected client work

  • Location: People based in selected location

  • Team Member Type: Your people (Confirmed) or placeholders (Placeholders)

  • Work Status: Assignments marked with your selected status

  • People Custom Fields: People who match your custom criteria

Project View Sort By Options

Project View - Sort By

  • End Date (default): Projects are sorted with the project with the earliest end date first

  • Start Date: Projects are sorted with the project with the earliest start date first

  • Project Name: Projects are sorted alphabetically by name

  • Client: Projects are sorted alphabetically by Client name

Filters in Projects view:

  • Every Project (default):  All active projects

  • Project: Select one or more projects

  • Project Type: Selected project types

  • Client: Projects for a specific client

  • Project Tags: Projects with specific tags

  • Project Custom Fields:  Projects matching specific criteria



On the People View of the Schedule, use filtering options to build a skilled team. Add Custom Fields to people with specific skills so you can easily find them when assigning and reassigning work that requires those skills.

Sort By - Skill

Saved Views

Anyone with access to the Schedule can create Saved Views. These views are accessible only to the person created them. Shared Views are accessible to any user within the organization. Shared views can only be created by account administrators.

To save a View

  1. 1. Create the view you want to save.
  2. On the sidebar menu, under My Views or Shared Views, click Save Current View
  3. Enter a name for your view and then click Save. It will appear under My Views or Shared Views.
