Find relevant answers with the get help AI tool
With get help, you access an integrated in-app tool that can answer your questions and help you build solutions. Ask the get help AI tool your questions to get unstuck quickly, so you can focus on more valuable tasks.
Starting on September 16, 2024, Smartsheet will give all our customers a taste of the following AI tools:
- Generate formulas
- Text Summaries
- Analyze data
- Get help
This access will end on December 31, 2024. After that, temporary access to AI tools will expire. However, any content generated and added to a sheet will remain. Your organization will have the option to modify your subscription and continue to use the AI tools.
Customers with the Premium Support Package have a preview of the get help AI tool.
Get started
- Select the Help icon in the lower-left corner of your Smartsheet window, above your profile image.
- Select Get help with AI.
- Enter your question, and then press ENTER.
- Review the response. If it's what you need, great! If not, try another question.
What you can do with the get help AI tool
Get answers to your questions in Smartsheet. Ask all your Smartsheet-related questions and get concise, helpful, and accurate responses.
What to ask the get help AI tool
While the tool can’t create solutions for you, it can help you understand how to create them yourself. Use it to get unstuck or figure out your next step.
Make your questions or prompts specific.
These are sample questions you can ask:
- How do I create a workspace?
- Help me with a project plan
- How do I share a sheet?
- How can I use Smartsheet to manage a construction project?
Limitations
At the moment, the get help AI tool can’t:
- Build formulas based on sheet context
- Conduct tasks for you in Smartsheet
- Answer questions about any private data within a sheet, report, and more
- Act as a support agent, creating tickets and managing cases
- Connect you to your Customer Success Manager (CSM)
- Provide insights on specific data
AI data security
Smartsheet AI tools use large language models to interpret your questions and provide tailored answers. The get help tool only has access to the prompts users submit. It doesn't read any private data, such as sheet data.
Smartsheet doesn't own your AI data and doesn’t use it to train models.
