Authorize Smartsheet and Resource Management accounts

Who can use this capability

Any user who is both a SysAdmin in Smartsheet and a Resource Management Admin can authorize the account connection.

To use the Smartsheet panel for Resource Management, you must first authorize the connection between Smartsheet and Resource Management.

  1. Login to Resource Management.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account Settings.
  3. Select the Connect to Smartsheet button.
  4. Log in with your Smartsheet SysAdmin credentials and Allow Access to your Smartsheet account.

For trial accounts, be sure you have configured an organization name for your Smartsheet account.

The Resource Management Panel for Smartsheet is not supported with Resource Management sandbox environments

Adding users to Resource Management

Before you can use the panel, you’ll need to configure people in your Resource Management account. 

Users must have an email address that matches between Smartsheet and Resource Management to be managed in the integration.
