Delete an attachment from a sheet or report
If a file attached to your sheet is no longer relevant to your work in Smartsheet, you can remove it. Use the steps in this article to delete one or more files from a sheet.
When you delete a file from Smartsheet, it is removed completely — this action cannot be undone.
Delete a single file
- In the sheet or report, select the Attachments icon in the right panel.
- Hover over the attachment, select the More icon, and then select Delete File.
Delete multiple files
- In the sheet or report, select the Attachments icon in the right panel.
- Check the boxes next to any attachments that you want to delete.
- From the Actions dropdown at the top of the pane select > Delete Files.
System Admins for Enterprise plans can disable any file attachment options. Learn how to manage global plan settings.
