How to export
Once you are happy with your document and have gone through the approval process, select the export button from either within the edit screen or from the project screen.
On the export screen, you can select the document to view a preview, view the share link, or download it straight from the export screen.
When you select the document's title, you are shown the preview. Similar to the export screen, you can either download or use a share link.
You can export multiple documents from the project screen simultaneously. Select the documents you want to export, and then select export.
Draft exporting
Draft exporting, as the name suggests, allows you to export a draft of your document before going through any approval process. This can be helpful if you need external stakeholders' feedback on a document and don't want to go through the approval process just yet.
Draft export is only available from the edit screen and may not be available in all accounts and on all documents.
How to draft export
- Select the edit screen of the document.
If the option is available, select Draft Export in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
- This follows the same process as a regular export. However, a watermark is across your document, signifying it is still in the draft stage.
Request approval
If the export button is missing and instead you see an option to request approval, this means you first need to get your document approved. Select the Request Approval button, and you are prompted with a list of appropriate approvers. Once your document is approved, this button changes to the export button, and you are able to export your document.
