Flexible templates
Flexi templates are only available on coded templates.
Flexible or Flexi templates are uniquely designed so that documents created from them are resizable, meaning you can change the document's height and width. The maximum and minimum height/width you can resize the document to varies between template variations.
Flexi template variations are marked with a blue Flexi icon in the template library:
How to resize documents
Important: First, make sure that the template that you used is flexible. If the document is not created using a Flexi template, you won't be able to resize the document.
1. From the project view, select the document that you'd like to resize by selecting it and then selecting Edit.
2. In the edit screen, select the Size/Format button, which is below the document's name and just above the preview:
3. After selecting that button, two sliders will appear, one for the width and one for the height. You can drag the slider from one endpoint to another or enter a numerical value in the field to change the respective dimensions' values.
4. You can only set the dimension value up to a certain range. The document will automatically save the dimensions you've set, but you can reset back to default by selecting the Reset Default Size button.
Frequently asked questions
How do I change a document's size if it's not flexible?
The answer is you can't. Flexible templates are designed to be resizable, and using non-Flexi templates will not work. Please contact your Central Marketing team / Admin if you think a certain template should have this trait.
