To use Smartsheet University, you must be a user on a Smartsheet plan or a Brandfolder plan, as the lessons include hands-on exercises.
What you find in Smartsheet University
With a Smartsheet University Self-Paced eLearning subscription, you have unlimited access to:
- Working in Smartsheet: This interactive, self-paced course helps new users quickly learn how to go from zero to productive in Smartsheet. Based on your capabilities as a team member, learn the basics of navigating sheets, reports, and dashboards.
- Continuing Education: Self-paced eLearning offerings to help you learn everything you need to know about Smartsheet. New courses are regularly available to keep your work management skills and techniques.
- Professional development units (PDUs) are available for many learning offerings. Check the details for each course to confirm if you can earn PDUs.
Get a subscription
If you don’t have access to Smartsheet University yet, you can purchase any of these packages:

If the packages don’t fit your organization’s learning needs, you can start with the one-year eLearning subscription to Smartsheet University.
Access your subscription
Once you’ve purchased a subscription, you’ll need to sign in to Smartsheet University:
- Go to Smartsheet University.
- In the upper-right corner, select Sign In.
- Follow the sign-in prompts.
After activating your subscription, try the Working in Smartsheet learning path if you are unsure where to begin.
