Use Brandfolder assets in your WordPress pages and posts.
USM Content
The WordPress Integration lets you quickly grab assets from your Brandfolder to use in your Pages and Posts. The plugin is built for the Gutenberg editor.
The plugin supports the following file types: JPG, PNG, GIF, MP4, and MOV.
The plugin uses Brandfolder’s smart CDN, so any updates you make to an asset in Brandfolder will also automatically appear on your WordPress sites.
The plugin does not work on the classic WordPress editor.
Set up the integration
- Install the plugin.
- Create a new Page/Post to add your assets to.
- Add a Block to the Page/Post and select the Brandfolder icon.
- In the block, select Pick Asset.
- If this is your first time using the plugin, input your API key.
Navigate the integration
The integration panel allows you to navigate your content just like in Brandfolder. Scroll through the different levels of the Brandfolder hierarchy: Organizations, Brandfolders, and Collections.
Once you are at the Brandfolder or Collection level, you have a few options to narrow down your content:
- Search assets by inputting search syntaxes into the search bar.
- Select Pin in the search bar to utilize pinned searches.
- Filter by asset status, tags, file types, custom fields, orientation, and upload date by selecting the Filter icon next to Pin.
- Search for labels by selecting the Label icon below the search bar.
- Filter by section or collection by selecting the arrow accordion to the left of All Sections or Collections.
View asset details by hovering over the asset, selecting the ellipses, and selecting View asset details. From this view, scroll to the bottom and select the attachment.
Use Brandfolder Assets
- Navigate to the asset you want to add by selecting the image.
- The attachment is now embedded in your post.
- If you need to replace the asset in that block with another, select Pick another asset.
