Seismic integration

Brandfolder's Seismic integration is a configurable file sync connector to a specific Brandfolder collection or section. The integration streamlines content movement from one platform to another without downloading and re-uploading content. You can upload assets to your Brandfolder and automatically sync with your Seismic account.

Setting up the integration

Please reach out to your designated Brandfolder contact to start the process of setting up your Seismic Integration. 

You must establish a Client Credentials developer app for Brandfolder and enable it on your Seismic tenant. The developer login credentials must be developers_<client_name>@brandfolder.com. Set the permissions to the highest level.

Also, you should consider what fields you will pass from Brandfolder to Seismic. You need to configure them; they will not pass automatically. 

Navigating the integration

1. Within Seismic, navigate to the folder you have set up for Brandfolder. 

2. Your Brandfolder assets will appear. 

3. Select one of the assets to see the asset-specific information passed from Brandfolder into Seismic. On the right-hand side in the content properties area, you will find the Brandfolder Asset Name (The Attachment name in Brandfolder), custom fields, and descriptions. This information will automatically sync in Seismic when there are changes in Brandfolder. 

The integration supports inserts, updates, and deletions.
