Guest Passkey

Allow others to access your private Brandfolder without setting up an account.

Setting up a Guest Passkey enables others to access your private Brandfolder without requiring an account. There are two ways to set up your guest passkey:

  • Custom Passkeys: Create your own alphanumeric passkey.
  • System-Generated Passkeys: Brandfolder generates a strong, memorable four-word phrase for you.

In any case, your passkey expires after one year by default, but you can set up a custom expiration period.

Set up a Guest Passkey

  1. Select the Privacy button in the Admin controls bar.

  2. Set your Brandfolder to Private. 
  3. Check the box next to Enable Guest Passkey. 
  4. Enter your password or select Regenerate for a system-generated passkey. 
  5. Set the appropriate expiration period. 
  6. Select Update Privacy Settings. 

End user experience 

  1. Select I have a guest password.
  2. Enter the password provided.
  3. Select Sign in. 

Users logging in this way appear anonymous in your analytics/insights.
