Change your Resource Management account owner

Who can use this capability

You must be an Administrator on Resource Management to change the account owner. 

Before you change your account owner, check to see if the new owner has the correct permissions. They must be a licensed Resourcing Administrator to become an account owner. 

Check permissions for the new owner

  1. Log into rm.smartsheet.com.
  2. On the top right, select Settings Account Settings
  3. Select People from the left menu options. 
  4. Find the person you want to set as the new owner. If they are not a Resourcing Administrator, select the role column and then, from the dropdown, select a new role for the person. 
  5. Select Save

Change the Account Owner

  1. On the top right, select Settings Account Settings
  2. In the General section, under Account Owner, select a new owner from the dropdown. 
  3. At the bottom of the screen, select Save.
