Before you change your account owner, check to see if the new owner has the correct permissions. They must be a licensed Resourcing Administrator to become an account owner.
Check permissions for the new owner
- Log into rm.smartsheet.com.
- On the top right, select Settings > Account Settings.
- Select People from the left menu options.
- Find the person you want to set as the new owner. If they are not a Resourcing Administrator, select the role column and then, from the dropdown, select a new role for the person.
- Select Save.
Change the Account Owner
- On the top right, select Settings > Account Settings.
- In the General section, under Account Owner, select a new owner from the dropdown.
- At the bottom of the screen, select Save.
