Manage bill rates for multiple disciplines and roles

People can have different bill rates when you use project phases.

People can only have one discipline and role in Resource Management, set in their personal profiles. However, you can use project phases to assign a different bill rate for a person.

For example, Joe works on the QA phase of a project at one bill rate and then as a Technical Adviser for another phase of the project at a different bill rate.

To account for the different bill rates, edit the phases and change the rates.

  1. Go to the project you want to manage. 
  2. In the top-right, select Project Settings. 
  3. On the left sidebar, under Project Settings, select the phase you want. 
  4. Under Bill Rates, select Set different bill rates for this phase.
  5. Enter any new bill rates and then select Save at the bottom of the page.
