Get started as a Contributor or Guest

Smartsheet is a platform for dynamic work that helps teams collaborate in real time from a single source of truth.

As a Contributor, you can view work shared with you. With Commenter permissions, you can also comment and add or delete attachments.

As a Guest, you can view, edit, and update work shared with you.

To create work in Smartsheet, you must be a Member (have a license in the legacy model). 

If you're unsure about your model type, learn how to determine the model your plan is on.

Pro plans don't include Guests. Users on a Pro plan can only be either Contributors or Members.
