Convert an attachment to a proof

With Smartsheet proofs, you and your team can quickly review and approve content.

Smartsheet proofs help you and your team review and approve content. To leverage Smartsheet's proofing approval process, you can quickly convert row attachment assets into proofs.

Convert a single attachment

  1. Select Attachments on the right feature bar in your sheet or report. 

  2. On the item you want to work with, select the more icon More icon in column header and then select Convert to proof.

Convert a Brandfolder sourced attachment

  1. On the right feature bar in your sheet or report, select Attachments. 
  2. Select the attachment sourced from Brandfolder.
  3. Select the more icon  More icon in column header .

    4. Select Convert to Proof

Convert multiple attachments

  1. On the right feature bar in your sheet or report, select Attachments. 
  2. Select items you want to work with, then at the top of the panel, select Actions.
  3. Select Convert X Files to Proof (where X is the number of selected items).

 

You can't edit proof descriptions. Make any changes before you convert the attachment. You can only convert row attachments to proofs, not sheet attachments.
