Watermarking an individual asset

You can add a custom watermark at the asset level. The watermark will display on the asset and all attachments associated with that asset. When a user downloads an asset, the watermark will remain in place.

1. Navigate to the asset modal and select the Edit tab.

2. Select the Advanced tab

3. From there, you will see an option for Custom Watermark, Drag file(s) here or click to browse. If you click to browse, this will open up your local system to select a specific image.

4. Once you have selected the asset to set as the watermark and choose its position (bottom left, top left, bottom right, top right), choose Save Changes.

5. Upon refreshing your screen, you should see the asset includes a watermark. An example of an asset with a watermark in the bottom right hand corner.

5. The watermark will stay in place When a user downloads the asset.

Note: The only accepted format for a watermark is a PNG file. A transparent background and similar dimensions to the asset will provide the best watermarking results.

Watermarking an entire Brandfolder

If you apply a watermark to the entire Brandfolder, the watermark will appear on all assets currently in the Brandfolder and all assets moving forward. The watermark will appear in the center of each asset when viewed within the Brandfolder. However, when an end-user downloads one of these watermarked assets, the watermark will not appear.
